Yoga Immersion and Teacher Training (2025–2026)

Begins October 15th, 2025

A collaboration between Sanctuary and Shraddhā Yoga

We’re delighted to continue this collaboration with our friends at Shraddhā Yoga. The 2025–2026 programs will include a 100-Hour Immersion, a 200-Hour Teacher Training, and a 300-Hour Teacher Training (see details below). The curriculum and schedule can be found here.

Shraddhā Yoga’s Corinne Andrews and Matthew Andrews have been facilitating immersions and teacher trainings since 2015. Their programs are inspired by The Mother & Sri Aurobindo’s Integral Yoga, Embodyoga®, Light Omega, and Arunachala Śiva. Each one unifies teachings from the various yoga traditions to support the awakening and transformation of all layers of ourselves: body, mind, heart, and soul.

Participation flexibility and financial accessibility

All sessions are offered in-studio and online, and they are recorded for those who cannot attend live, to ensure that everyone can participate in a comfortable and convenient way. We are here to support you throughout the program and make adjustments and accommodations that hold you through life changes and events.

Pricing for all programs is sliding-scale (see below for rates), and we offer a range of payment plans for those who are looking to budget their investment. Additionally, both Sanctuary and Shraddhā Yoga are committed to ensuring equitable access for all, and we are ready to support you with our Scholarship Program; no one will be turned away!

Ann, she/her, 200-RYT first began exploring practices as a young girl, naturally moving into what she later learned were yoga postures (āsāna). Seeking deeper connection with her South Indian ancestors, she continued her studies with yoga and meditation, completing her first yoga teacher training in 1994. She is currently completing an additional 300-hour with Shraddhā Yoga Teacher Training. Ann writes, "To me, it is vital that I teach what lives and grows in me and is integrated through my life. So, what I offer is my expression of these beautiful practices and I would love to share this with you!" He also went to a school that had weekly homa’s, and teachings from vedic texts as part of the curriculum. This set the stage for an interest in these practices.

One of his current quests is to explore how Vedic Chanting can help deepen connection with the sound and through that with the silence from which it emerges.

Testimonials from previous Shraddhā Yoga YTT Graduates

“If you are thinking about taking the 100 hour Immersion: do it. I was an interested student without much in-depth knowledge of yoga before, and the Immersion program deepened my personal practice immeasurably. I learned so much, and not just about asana. Embodied awareness of movement, alignment, physical systems, and energy flow has become a part of my normal consciousness. I can see real, tangible benefits to my mobility, chronic pain, and comfort in my body--not to mention the depth it has added to my personal spiritual practices. Corinne and Matthew and the wonderful guest teachers created an environment that was so welcoming and open, I felt completely at ease to explore despite coming in as nearly a blank slate. So if you're a person who's on the fence about it, go for it; if you're feeling the call, you won't regret it.”

— Connor Grenier, they/them (2023 100-Hour Immersion)

“Four years ago, much like you are now, I was looking for a Yoga Teacher Training program. Having experienced the healing benefits of yoga, I wanted to be able to share this beautiful practice with others. I was interested in finding a program where I could find support, community and learn about the spiritual essence of yoga. Affordability was important to me too. I was called to take the YTT with Corinne and Matthew. Their training had everything I was looking for. Shortly after I enrolled, the COVID pandemic hit. Corinne and Matthew did an amazing job seamlessly adapting to this challenging situation and taught online. I was upset about this shift since I wanted to be in community with them and other yogis. Despite this, my yoga practice was deepened by being with them, even though we were online. They taught beautifully, through asana, breath and yogic philosophy, and how yoga can help us weather difficult challenges. I learned to go deeper and accept what is, and not to brace or collapse. To see how they adjusted, supported one another and the class was truly a special gift that speaks to their yoga practice. One of my favorite teachings, which I still call upon, is the idea that support proceeds action. We cannot move effectively throughout life without the proper support in place. Corinne and Matthew gave me this support, shared with open hearts and helped me be a better yogi and yoga teacher. I would highly recommend their teacher training.”

Yolanda Ramos, LICSW (2021 200-Hour Teacher Training)

“Shraddha Yoga’s Teacher Training dramatically deepened my connection with Yoga. Although I have studied and practiced yoga for over 25 years, Shraddha’s group of teachers and assistants offered a unique blend of asana, yogic philosophy, and community that supported me in finding new inspiration and understandings that continue to enliven my practice. I am grateful for their sensitivity to concerns of appropriation and for their integrity in sharing yoga in the West. Through Shraddha, I have gained confidence as a teacher and found a diverse community of practitioners who share a love of the depths and limbs of yoga!”

Ann Augustine, she/her (2023 300-Hour Teacher Training)

“The best things I've ever done! Carefully curated with love by amazing instructors who are wells of knowledge and compassion. My experience in these trainings gifted me with a sense of awe, empowerment, peace, and with the feeling that this is just the beginning. Not many experiences allow for such a transformative journey. The type that foresters connection and contains seeds capable of growing into evolutionary movements collectively through action and inaction, love and reverence, and through the unraveling and reweaving. Shraddhā's trainings offered experiences rooted in the depths of yogic philosophy - in the peace and union, the vastness and the oneness, that is the ancient practice. Yoga is a gift within us all just waiting to be realized. I could not have asked for better guides into the study. Corinne and all the instructors pour their whole heart into every class. And the 300-hour allows for the freedom to help craft your own individualized practice, and amazing insights and resources are offered throughout. I am eternally grateful.”

— Jessica Smith (2018 200-Hour Teacher Training, 2020 Birthing Mama 90-Hour Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training, 2023 300-Hour Teacher Training)

“Corinne, Matthew and all the guest teachers are here to share their massive love and expertise on the practices that fall under the umbrella of Yoga. They are not just teaching you how to be more flexible and structure an hour class. Their programs are an incredibly well-rounded deep-dive into anatomy and physiology, language, philosophy and spirituality, ayurveda, physical and mental practice, and so many more layers. You could take these courses over and over again (many of the previous students do as assistant teachers) and keep discovering new nuggets of wisdom or understand something differently or more deeply than you did the first time around. Something you do not always get with this amount of knowledge is the amount of patience and openness these teachers have for your questions and personal experience with their lessons. They want you to connect with this information and experience profound growth so that you can do the same for your students/clients. I have spent two years training at Shraddhā with the intention of better understanding my own body and teaching group and private yoga sessions alongside my massage therapy practice. I know that the community of teachers and students I’ve met here will be a continuing source of knowledge and support in my yoga journey for years to come.”

— Emma Nawskon, LMT, she/her (2023 200-Hour Teacher Training, 2024 300-Hour Teacher Training)

“It was the best decision I have ever made. The training helped me tremendously endure the exhaustion and isolation of the pandemic. I looked forward to every training session, to connect with uplifting & genuine people, to move my body, to learn about something that made me feel whole.”

— Mariah Boisvert (2020 200-Hour Teacher Training)

“I took this training because I wanted to understand better the relationship between body and mind. For me, sports were always a way of feeling better and empowered. For most of my life, I used the energy drawn from sports activities to be creative, productive, efficient…”

— Luisa Galindo (2016 200-Hour Teacher Training)

“Each lesson was fresh, well-organized, and combined opportunities to absorb content through readings, lecture, slides, as well as experiential practices that were expertly guided to inquire into my own experience. There was a deepening of experience, with no sense of repetition from my previous training.”

— Dory Pelletier (2022 300-Hour Teacher Training)

“The 200-Hour Embodyoga® Teacher Training is the best thing I have ever done. I chose this training over others based on instinct. I took one of Corinne Andrews’s classes and was in awe at her ability to connect so many layers of yoga and human existence…”

— Lexi Allaway (2017 200-Hour Teacher Training)
